PRESIDENT'S DAY 2022

SUNDAY 14TH AUGUST 2022 : PRESIDENT'S DAY

It was a piping hot day, and we wondered if we would all last out 18 ends - but we did (with lots of water intake).

We began the day with a spider, won by Carolyn Hunt (awarded a lovely bottle of Scotch).

A great day, enjoyed by all. Bob Reynolds our President hosted the day and played off against Captain Norman Jerrom and his Chandos Park team. The President and his team won the game! After the game we sat outside under the shade of the pagodas and were treated to a lovely buffet which Sue and Mike Edwards had organised on behalf of Bob. Thanks were given by Bob to all those who had made the day a success.
