Following a number of withdrawals since the original draw was made, we have decided to redraw the competition on the morning of the event. This will ensure the draw reflects the players who are actually there and will also allow me to deal with any further late withdrawals or no-shows.

Registration will be between 9:30am and 10:15am, with the draw taking place once registration has closed.

The Two-Wood Singles is a knockout competition hosted by Arclight on Saturday 15th August, starting at 10.30am. 

Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Parking: The car park directly outside Arclight can get quite busy due to our padel and tennis neighbours. There’s additional parking available at CIBC/West End car park, and you can then walk through the alleyway next to the padel courts.

Format: Each match will be played over 21 ends, with two bowls per player.
Winner: The player with the highest score at the end of the match, or one with an unassailable lead before the 21st end.
Tie: If the scores are level after 21 ends, an extra end will be played to decide the winner.
Trial ends: Two trial ends before each game.
Markers: Arclight will provide markers for the first six rinks. After that, players who lose their match will be asked to stay and mark the following round.
Rinks: We'll do our best to ensure no one plays on the same rink twice.
Entry fee: If you haven't already paid, please bring your £2 entry fee with you.
Finalists: The two finalists will compete in the final at the CBBA Finals Weekend on 5th/6th September.
