The Colchester Borough Bowling Association (CBBA) is made up of eight full member clubs and two associate member clubs, all working together to promote the game of lawn bowls in the Colchester area.

The CBBA, along with the Tendring Hundred and District Bowling Association, forms Group 1 within the Essex County Bowling Association.

The full member clubs of the CBBA are:

Three Clubs Bowls Club was formed from an amalgamation of the Colchester Colne, Saint George, and South Ward clubs, all of which played at the Recreation Ground on Old Heath Road, Colchester.
