Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting is not a Council meeting but a meeting of the electors of the Parish.  It must take place between 1st March and 1st July and must not commence before 6pm.

The meeting is called by the Parish Council. This can be the Parish Council Chair, or 2 Councillors, or any 6 electors.  The Parish Clerk is responsible for producing the agenda and taking the minutes of the meeting.  The agenda must be issued 7 clear days before the date of the meeting.  Electors can contribute to the agenda and should notify the Parish Clerk of issues they want included well before the date of the meeting.

The Chair of the Parish Council chairs the Annual Parish Meeting, which is an opportunity for the Parish Council, Parish charities and organisations to report back to residents on their activities over the last year.
