Lyng Parish Council have adopted the following Financial policies to ensure good governance. These were last reviewed at the Council meeting held on 24th May 2023 and will be reviewed on an annual basis.

Each year Lyng Parish Council prepares an Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR). The AGAR has been published (see documents below) It will be reviewed by the appointed auditor, PKF Littlejohn.

Bank statements and financial figures are presented to the Parish Council at every meeting. Accounts are internally and externally audited every year and this information can be viewed below. 

The Asset register forms part of the Council’s financial risk assessment and is updated as required.
