Saffron Walden Town Bowls Club was founded in 1896 and is one of the oldest bowls clubs in the country.

Located in the heart of the beautiful town of Saffron Walden, the club welcomes new members of all ages who wish to play this wonderful game.

In addition to friendly fixtures and club competitions, we field teams in the North West Essex League, the Steeple Bumpstead League and the Herts and Essex Seniors League. The club also enters county and national competitions such as the Essex County Shield and the National Top Club competition.

If you would alternatively just like to try a quick 1 hour game of bowls with your family and/or friends you could try Bowls Bash. All the equipment is provided, just book on line or contact the club directly.
