As you might know, SGN were due to re-start work to replace gas pipes on the A264 Langton Road this week, however, the start date has now been postponed until next Monday 11th March. As this work is scheduled to last until 11th May, we recommend that you sign up to One.network if you haven't already. This site features a live road map, which the utility companies and Kent County Council (KCC) all update with details of current and upcoming roadworks. We have noticed that SGN are particularly effcient at updating One.network with new developments or changes to works, so it is definitely worth using this to plan your journey.

Residents will also be pleased to know that when County Councillor James McInroy attended our Highways Committee meeting last week, he told us that KCC have undertaken to improve the planning and management of roadworks so that the disruption caused by multiple works is avoided. This has been a particular issue for Seldhurst parish recently, with clashes between emergency and planned works resulting in considerable traffic delays. We will follow up with Councillor McInroy for an update on this project soon.
