Cat Servant

We are seeking dedicated volunteers to assist in caring for and appeasing our feline overlords.

As a volunteer, you will:

• Provide daily sustenance - punctuality is crucial
• Observe and react accordingly to the client's schedule, e.g. zoomies, food and attention demands, sleep time
• Administer therapeutic petting, but not too much and only in some areas. Prepare for variance in acceptable petting spots and potential for biting and/or scratches
• Engage in morale boosting exercises with the client, such as using a laser pointer, feathers, strings, etc.
• Cleaning the litterbox throughout the day to ensure hygiene regulations are maintained to a high standard and to avoid client relieving themselves elsewhere (e.g. on you)

Ideal Candidate

• Can interpret client's subtle body language cues and warning signs, e.g. airplane ears, tail-flicking, pupil dilation
• Willingness to spend long periods of time within close proximity to an apex predator
• Has a thick skin, both literally and metaphorically
