3rd Harrogate (St John's) Scout Group is a welcoming, friendly, and inclusive Scout Group based in Harrogate, providing fun, adventure, and skills for life for young people aged 4 to 18.

Our Group offers a complete Scouting journey through Squirrels (4–6 years), Beavers (6–8 years), Cubs (8–10½ years), Scouts (10½–14 years), and Explorers (14–18 years).

Every section is packed with exciting activities, from outdoor adventures and camping to creative challenges, community projects, games, and opportunities to learn new skills.

At 3rd Harrogate we help young people build confidence, resilience, teamwork, leadership, and independence in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Led by a dedicated team of volunteers, we encourage every member to challenge themselves, make lifelong friendships, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Whether they're taking their very first steps as a Squirrel or preparing for new adventures as an Explorer, every young person is supported to grow, have fun, and gain Skills for Life through the adventure of Scouting.
