Abinger Parish Council have commissioned an ecological survey of the Village Green at

Forest Green, to take place over Spring/Summer 2020, starting on 22nd April.

The Village Green will be visited by 2 ecologists over this period to take samples.

The survey will consist of a botanical and an invertebrate survey to record the botanical and

invertebrate species present, highlighting any rare and scarce species. The Parish Council will

use the survey to inform any further consideration for a request for a playground on the green and

give us valuable information as to the ecology of the green.
