Message from Chair January 2026:

To achieve the group's aim, we require members as we have a varied list of challenges. The list is extremely varied, hence all those with disabilities are welcome, enabling our Group to make the most of their experiences. Individual experiences of mentors are crucial so that we can provide solutions and alternative courses of action, which, of course, will have a huge benefit to the disabled community.

Our Services at the moment are very limited by the number of members we have.
I would go as far as to say that if we wish to integrate at all levels those with disabilities, we must make ourselves available to advise/support Public groups in achieving this goal.

Supporting our local elected Counsellors is an example of where we can help most, as they are on the front line of accommodating public concern, whether it be dropped curbs or improving public transport.
We need members to provide solutions to these sorts of scenarios, which we can achieve by working closely with our local Government Representatives.

We must make a difference.
