Scouts from 8th Alton Scout group have teamed up again with Alton Round Table with their annual fundraising project that sees thousands of pounds raised to support local charities and good causes.

2021, saw a huge generosity of Alton residents and over £10,000 was collected by Alton Round Table. Donations have been made to many local causes, and the final cheque was handed over to Alton Men’s Shed last week. These funds were used to provide an emergency tool box that will contain all the common tools required for most repairs.

Thankyou to all concerned. Picture includes the Scouts new eco sleigh, David Russell from Alton Round Table (L), and Mike Loxley from Alton Men's Shed with the new too box (R).
