Alton Tennis Club Playing Information

Members

  • Members of the club benefit from a variety of opportunities for social and competitive play. Members may book a court in advance or simply turn up to play at any time.
  • There is a full programme of age-specific coaching for Junior members. Juniors aged 10+ also benefit from a 'roll-up' matchplay practice session on Saturday mornings. Please note: U14 Juniors must not be left unaccompanied at the club.

Non-members

  • We are a friendly club and welcome non-members of all ages.
  • Junior visitors may join our roll-up sessions run on Saturday mornings.
  • One of our courts is available to non-members aged 18+ and Under 18s accompanied by a parent/responsible adult, on a Pay and Play basis during all our Club Sessions and, matches & coaching permitting, at other times whenever members are available to secure the premises. The court is available on a 'first come, first served' basis. The cost of Pay and Play is £10 (for the court, not per person) for one hour, payable in cash at the beginning of the session. For further information please contact the Club Secretary, Angela Gregory (see 'About Us' or 'Contact' pages for contact details).
  • For Health & Safety and insurance reasons, all visitors must sign the Visitors' Book.

Please note: The Club cannot act in loco parentis; all children visiting the club remain the responsibility of their parents / accompanying adult.
