Safeguarding

Safeguarding means protecting a person's right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect.

It is about people and organisations working together to prevent and stop both the risks and the experience of abuse and neglect, while at the same time making sure that the individual's well-being is promoted.

Ashby Bowls Club abides by all Bowls England Policies and Procedures, and seeks to ensure that all members and visitors feel safe in our club. We believe that safeguarding is everybody's business, whether member or visitor.

Our named Safeguarding Officer is Kath Nightingale and she can be contacted on 07745700982 if you have any concerns.
