Cheshire East Council is inviting residents aged 18+ to join its new Community Voices Panel and take part in conversations about the issues that matter most to them.

The panel will act as a gateway to a range of engagement opportunities, including online consultations and in-person community assemblies. These assemblies will bring residents together to discuss key local topics such as the council’s budget, the Local Plan and waste and recycling.

Through Community Voices, residents can share their views, hear different perspectives, and take part in open, constructive discussions that help shape council services, priorities and decisions. The approach places a strong emphasis on listening and creating meaningful, two-way conversations with communities.

The council is keen to hear from a diverse range of residents to ensure different voices and experiences are reflected in the decisions that affect local areas. Residents who join the panel will be invited to take part in future community assemblies and other engagement activity.
