Message from Cheshire Police and Cheshire Neighbourhood Watch Association:

Following the recent Neighbourhood Watch Week, Cheshire Police and Cheshire Neighbourhood Watch Association (CNWA) would like to invite you to a friendly Communi‑Tea event taking place on:

📅 Tuesday 30 June 2026
🕒6:30pm
📍Peggy Killick Suite, Nantwich Civic Hall

This informal gathering is a great opportunity to learn more about Neighbourhood Watch and how you can play a part in keeping your community safe—by becoming a Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator.

Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators play a key role in bringing neighbours together, sharing information and helping to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour. It builds stronger, safer, and more connected communities. As a Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of this — supporting communication, building connections, and working alongside local partners. Even a small amount of your time can help improve communication, reduce crime, and bring neighbours together.

You’ll have the chance to:

  • Find out what being a Coordinator involves and how simple it can be to get started
  • Speak to the CNWA team about setting up or supporting a scheme, accessing resources, and using the Alert system
  • Meet your local policing team and understand how they support your area
  • Connect with others who care about their neighbourhood and want to make a difference
  • Discover how you can make a positive impact in your neighbourhood

Event Agenda

6:30pm – Arrival & Informal Meet and Greet

6:45pm – Welcome & Presentation

7:15pm – Questions & Answers

7:30pm – Local Area Discussions

8:15pm – Close

Refreshments will be available throughout the evening.

Whether you’re simply interested in finding out more or are ready to take the next step, you’ll be very welcome. This is a great chance to see how you can make a real difference where you live. Even a small amount of your time can make a big difference.

To help us plan for catering, please let us know if you can attend by replying to this message or emailing cheshirenw@outlook.com.

We hope to see you there.

Kind regards
Sergeant Matthew Stonier (Nantwich Beat Team)
Heather Thompson (CNWA Chair)
