Villagers teamed together in October to carry out a litter pick, with refreshments provided afterwards. In total, 27 bags of litter were collected, which were then disposed of by North Yorkshire council. The next community litter pick will take place in mid-March. If you are interested in joining or have any suggestions on areas of concern, please email baldersbyclerk@gmail.com.
Represent Baldersby & Baldersby St James
Following confirmation from North Yorkshire Council Election Services that there have been insufficient requests from eligible electors for an election to fill the casual vacancy on Baldersby & Baldersby St James Parish Council to replace Cllr Shaw, the Council is now at liberty to co-opt a councillor.
If you are interested in applying for this position, please contact either the Clerk (Baldersbyclerk@gmail.com) or the Chairman (john@jbhart.co.uk) to discuss the responsibilities involved.

The Movement, Activity and Sport Investment Programme is offering grants to support local projects that help people stay active in rural areas - especially where access to facilities or organised groups is limited. Funding is available for events, equipment, facilities, and training, with grants starting from £3,000.
