Northumberland County Council road closure for surface dressing and associated works. Work will be carried out in weather-dependant phases: Phase 1 & 2 Pre-surface dressing patching and civils, Phase 3 Surface dressing, Phase 4 Lock chip, Phase 5 White lining and road studs.

Expected work dates
Phase 1 & 2: 15/04/2026 - 17/04/2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.

Phase 3: 02/07/2026 - 03/07/2026 between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00.

Phase 4: 20/07/2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.

Phase 5: 30/07/2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.

Access maintained for residents and businesses as far as reasonably practicable. Access to Vindolanda will be available at all times.
