Club History

The club was formed in 1926 - yes, the very same year that the Queen was born, which means of course that we celebrated our 90th birthday in 2016, though perhaps not quite in the same style!

The original Ladies section was formed in 1934, but in 2010 we became a mixed club.

Now, all our matches are mixed, which is a great advantage to couples who wish to play together rather than be restricted to separate men's and ladies fixtures.
