Eight Teams contested the competition with the Grove edgeing a close game with Hwakhurst, after such a good day, hopefully we cav attract 10 teams next year.

We had entries into the Groombridge Pairs (American), John T & RoyS had a good day but Roy's luck held and he came away with the spider.

A Team has been entered into the Wadhurst Mixed Triples and one team will be at Rotherfield.

The green continues to evolve and all Kevin's hardwork is paying off, with praise from all the teams at the Triples. If we were not so far out, it could be used for the Tunbridge Wells Tournament.

We continue to have a good Patron in Kevin McKnight at the Elephants Head, and is always worth a visit.

With teh increase in memebersip, next year should be excitingand we will be chasing more friendly games and we now have enough to enter the Thursday League again. If we had known we were going to increase membership by so many we would have taken on more already.

The first time in 3 years we have competitions and should have a finals day this year.

If anybody has any new ideas in the way of competitions, please put the ideas forward.

With an influx of new members, 2 dates have been fixed to play the Royals Inbdoor Club on Saturday Evenings, these will start at 1730hrs and finsih about 1945hrs. It is then hoped we can have a meal afterwards. John will be having a word with Carl and Sam to provide nourishment.
