About Us
Bearley Village Hall was built in 2000 as a millennium project with help from the National Lottery. The hall, together with the adjacent playing field, is a charitable trust managed by a group of voluntary residents.
Surrounded by rolling countryside just three miles north of Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Bearley is a quintessential English village, home to a charming venue that is the pride of the community.
This light and airy village hall is available to hire for a range of different events and private functions, including childrens parties, wedding receptions and fairs. Comfortably catering for 80 to 100 people in a formal setting, or around 140+ theatre-style, it also hosts weekly activities and classes – see the events page for more information.
The main hall is also marked out for badminton, and two competition standard table tennis tables are available. For badminton and table tennis groups, all necessary equipment is included in the hire charge.
In addition, a small adjoining room is available. Suitable for around 12 people, it can be hired separately or alongside the main hall.
The modern, fully equipped kitchen includes large oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and commercial dishwasher. The use of rectangular tables is included in the hire charge. Round tables, seating 8–10 people each, are available at an additional charge.
The hall’s projector and sound system make it a perfect venue for presentations. Please see our facilities page for more information. It also holds a PRS for Music licence, permitting the use of most commercial music.
