Hospice in the Weald - Open Gardens Season 2026

Take the opportunity to visit some of the most attractive and interesting gardens in West Kent and East Sussex. The owners are opening their gates this spring and summer to raise funds for Hospice in the Weald.

Twenty eight gardens will be open; take in the sights, sounds, and scents of some of the finest private gardens. Enjoy refreshments and pick up a few gardening tips along the way.

Each garden provides a different experience - from the formal gardens at Tonbridge School, to the cottage garden at the 18th century thatched cottage at Little Walkhurst, Benenden; from the three acre garden at the magnificent 14th century Long Barn, Weald, to the nine gardens at the Tunbridge Wells in Bloom event. New this year is Bailiffs House in Hever with its wonderful arts and crafts garden.

The first garden opens on the 19th of April, with the season going through until 8th of September. All funds raised help us to support adults and children with life-threatening or life-limiting illness when they need it most.

As ever, we give our sincere thanks to all the garden owners, volunteers, and visitors who make the open season an attractive and successful event.

For full details of all participating gardens, opening dates and times, and to book tickets, please visit the events section at hospiceintheweald.org.uk. Alternatively, you can email us at fundraising@hospiceintheweald.org.uk. or call our fundraising team on 01892 820533.
