Bordered by the M6 and the Trent & Mersey Canal, Betchton is a civil parish situated in the heart of rural Cheshire, close to the market town of Sandbach. The parish comprises Betchton Heath, Hassall Green and Malkin's Bank, and has a population of around 700.

The Parish Council is a non-party political body and meets at 7:30 pm on the first Thursday of every second month at Malkins Bank Golf Club. Members of the public are always very welcome to attend. For details of Agendas and Minutes, please see the respective links above.
