Jubilee Triples 2023 - 3 August

There was a record entry of 30 players, 10 teams of triples in 2 groups of 5 teams in each. It was very pleasing to welcome 7 of this year’s new members to play in the Event!

The Winners from Group One were Angie Dean/ Paul Shipton/John Stephens. The runners up were Stephen Annetts/Joan Meikle/Dave Morse

In Group Two, the winners were Christina Tyacke/Peter Simkins/Tony Gardner. The Runners up were Helga R-Davies/ Michael Bowling & Adrian Coomber.

In the 6 end Semi Finals, the 2 winning teams through to Finals Day on 16 & 17 September, were Tony Gardner's and John Stephen’s rinks.

The weather was OK and everyone enjoyed the day. Many thanks to Gary for cutting the grass/preparing the Green, to Chris for setting up the rinks, to Jocelyn & Mandy for running the Bar and to Diane, Jeanine & Tracy for their help during the day

The final was won by John Stephens rink with Joan Meikle and Paul Shipton 13-2.
