Ok Chaps, here’s how it might work but we can change things around when we see how it goes:

Every Wednesday, when the green is open, there will be a friendly, competitive and inclusive game for any BTBC men who turn up at the club by 9.50am for a 10.00am start.

Two teams will compete through the season:

Yellow team, “Canaries”, for those with surnames A to J –

Captain Kenny

Green team, “Forest”, for surnames Johnson to Z – Captain

Dave

On over 55 match days 3 Canaries and 3 Forest will play for BTBC. Teams selected and announced 1 week in advance on the Wednesday morning. If the match is at home the match teams will have first choice of rinks.

Dress: Club shirt (old or new) Black trousers/shorts. No rink fee.

All games 18 ends. Normal rules but players might change bowling position during play, so new bowlers could, for example, try skipping for a few ends.

League through the season - 2 points for win, 1 for draw.
