We are pleased to offer residents an opportunity to purchase their own copy of "A Short History of Bredgar". The first edition was produced in 1959 by Bredgar Women’s Institute. It was in a large format file comprised of A4 typed pages and original photographs, glued onto the pages. Corrections and additions were made in 1963, 1972 and 2023. The WI original version is in the Kent Libraries and Archives in Maidstone.

This new version has been edited by Stephen Palmer and is published by Bredgar Parish Council.

The book is available from the Post Office at £15 each.
