YOUR COUNCIL AT CHRISTMAS

Residents are being reminded of changes to services provided by Folkestone & Hythe District Council over the festive period.

Opening hours

We will be closed from Saturday 24 December and reopen on Tuesday 3 January, but most council services can be accessed 24/7 by visiting folkestone-hythe.gov.uk.

Please call 01303 221888 if you need to contact us in an emergency outside of business hours.

Information about Hythe Swimming Pool’s opening hours can be found on the Christmas section of our website.

Waste collections

Meanwhile, waste crews will not be working on Boxing Day – meaning collections will take place 24 hours later than usual for a week.

Collections return to normal on Monday 2 January. Residents are encouraged to recycle as much as they possibly can – advice can be found on our website.
