Bulwick Parish Tidy
Looking After our Lovely Parish
Over 150 of us live in Bulwick Parish, we love our homes and our environment. It needs looking after.
Every year we arrange a friendly Litter Pick, using our Parish Litter Pick equipment (available to borrow if required). We pitch in and remove any litter that inevitably accumulates in the verges.
In 2025, 16 August was Litter-Pick Day. We split the parish into 10 zones, volunteers picked the one they fancied and in under two hours we really made a difference. We even cleaned the road signs.
Then everyone involved had a jolly brunch of bacon butties and drinks, provided by the community fund, hosted at Anne & Ray Lashmar's.
Look out for date for the next one – always communicated on our Bulwick Chit Chat (Whats App group) and Parish Noticeboard (by the post box). Everyone is welcome.
Don’t forget, ANYTIME you spot any significant rubbish build up or fly-tipping (It happens more often than we would like) please take a photo, capture the location (the What Three Words App is best) then report it on www.fixmystreet.com. Our local council North Northamptonshire are rather good, and usually clear stuff within a couple of weeks.
