Dear Parishioners,

Take a moment to read the events and news from your parish church and parish council.

JUNE EVENTS

Saturday 6th June 10:30am-12:30pm Coffee morning & stalls venue: St Nicholas church

Saturday 20th June 2:30pm-4:30pm Meet the Neighbours venue: St Nicholas church.

Saturday 27th June 4pm Visiting bellringers from Wales will ring our six bells.

Meet the Neighbours,’

come along to this community event on Saturday 20th June 2:30pm- 4:30pm. Complimentary tea, coffee, cake, a good opportunity to meet your parish councillors, neighbours – new residents and those who have been here for a few years, or more, those involved with the church, hopefully our PCSO, and Simon Fairhall our unitary councillor from North Northamptonshire.

This is a social event and enables those who have recently moved to our village, and everyone else, to come along, have a chat and let us get together and find out what our community has to offer for all.

JULY EVENTS

Saturday 4th July 10:30am-12:30pm Coffee morning & stalls venue: St Nicholas church

Sunday 12th July 2:30pm - 4:30pm Traditional Afternoon tea venue: St Nicholas church. A traditional afternoon tea, Adults £10 to include a raffle ticket. Please book, list at the back of the church or email alma.stnicholas1@btinternet.com

Wednesday 22nd July Parish Council meeting 7:15pm venue: St Nicholas church

Looking further ahead, first Saturday in August Coffee Morning and stalls, August bank holiday our annual Horticultural Show, and in October a Folk Night with a meal. Further details in the August issue of the Community newsletter.

CHURCH NEWS. Thank you to all who attended the Christian Aid lunch on 13th May in the church; £202 has been donated to Christian Aid.
