Northamptonshire Police are pleased to introduce the newly formed Rural Crime Team consisting of a sergeant and 6 constables. The team all bring individual strengths in their particular area of knowledge and rural backgrounds, and through this we understand the worries and impact that crime has on our rural communities. Going forward, the team are looking to engage with and build effective working relationships with local communities, partner agencies and neighbouring forces. Through this we aim to offer reassurance and crime prevention to the county that we are here to protect as well as developing intelligence so that we can proactively target those individuals and groups that deem it acceptable to commit crime in our wonderful countryside.
