Burgess Bowls Club was founded in 1982 and is situated in the top righthand corner of the little park off Bridge Road, Burbage and has parking just by the old tennis courts.

We are a friendly club with varying ages and welcome new comers, whether a complete beginner or a seasoned bowls player. For those who have never played before or need a bit more tuition, coaching is available.

Anyone thinking of playing bowls can come to our open day and have a go at bowling with our friendly coaches. You don't need to have your own bowling shoes or bowls as you can borrow some from the club.

The club have matches three times a week mostly on a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons and after a home game you can relax and enjoy a meal and a drink with the visiting team. There is also a Hinckley triples league which is played on a Monday evening..

There is a monthly social evening where we get together to have a beetle drive, a quiz night or a games night. The social night carries on throughout the year.
