Reading Buses confirm that their number 7 Tiger bus will use the whole of Albert Street and Kings Road while Fleet Road is closed.
Stagecoach have confirmed that their buses will not use Upper Street, they will instead divert along the whole of Albert Street between Kings Road and Reading Road South. There are less temporary bus stops than along the equivalent section of Fleet Road. The location of the temporary bus stops are:
- Reading Road South - Stop C (replacing the bus shelter that had to be removed following an accident)
- the junction of Albert Street/Upper Street (stop actually located almost opposite Screwfix)
- corner of Albert Street and Church Road (by Old Dairy flats)
- Outside Castle Motor Sales and car wash. Note this is the only bus stop on this side of the road along the whole of Albert Street.
