Update

Hi all, sorry we have been quiet on here recently, there are only a few of us volunteers and like everyone, life is busy with jobs and families! However while we have been quiet on here, we have been busy behind the scenes. Following the success of our bus event in February, we have managed to hold two useful meetings, one with Stagecoach and one with the Assistant Manager of Local Buses at Hampshire County Council; we want to ensure we keep talking to the relevant parties about our bus services. We have highlighted the impact that the recent reductions in bus subsidies by HCC had on our bus services, and the importance of maintaining bus connections between Fleet, Church Crookham and our local towns. We also know that many people are increasingly keen to use public transport more for environmental reasons, so keeping regular bus services are essential.
