CPC Annual Parish Meeting
Chaddleworth Annual Parish Meeting
The Chaddleworth Annual Parish Meeting is hosted late in May each year at 7:30pm in Chaddleworth Village Hall. Please see the Parish Council Meeting Dates page for the details of the next planned meeting.
The Annual Parish Meeting, which used to be known as the Assembly, is a meeting for the electors of the Parish who have the right to attend and to speak on any matter of local interest.
All from Chaddleworth Parish are welcome to attend.
The meeting is also an opportunity for electors to have a say on anything they consider valuable to the people of the Parish. Community organisations provide fantastic contributions to the Parish and in the meeting share their successes of the last year and their plans for the following year.
The meeting is for all electors of the Parish. It is not a meeting of the Parish Council. Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting, however only registered electors of the parish may speak during the meeting. Any registered elector may ask a question of the Council which will usually be answered by the Chairman. An elector may also make a suggestion and comment on anything relevant to the residents of the Parish. This will be welcomed and is the whole purpose of the meeting. The Chairman of the Council will chair the meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to enable the electors to find out what is going on in their parish and to have their say.
Please contact the Clerk for any more information or to confirm your group’s interest.
