AUDITIONS!

We will be holding auditions for our upcoming production of Pinocchio by Brian Way on Tuesday 22 September 2026 at 6pm at Chelford Village Hall. There are children and adult parts but please note, children need to be at least 8 years and must be accompanied by an adult. There is nothing to prepare, please just come down if you are interested, all scripts will be provided! Here is some more information about the parts and acts - 

Cast of Characters

Geppetto – adult – an old puppet maker – main character

Ticket seller – adult – will be doubled for the performance

Fire-Eater – adult – puppet master – main character

Pantalone

Harlequin   - children – three puppets – main characters

Columbine

Three manipulators – adults or children – will be doubled for the performance

The Clown – adult – key figure mainly unscripted

The Fairy – adult female – main character

Antonio – adult - wood seller – will be doubled

Pinocchio – child – main character

Policeman – adult – will be doubled

Mr Fox/Mr Cat – adults – possible to double

Two detectives – adults/children – possible to double

Two bloodhounds – children

A Judge – child or adult – minor part can be doubled.

Candlewick – child – Fire-Eaters son – can be doubled

Coachman – child or adult – can be doubled

Circus Master – Adult – can be doubled

Snake Charmer – child or adult – can be doubled

Acrobat – child or adult – can be doubled

Auditions – character reading.  – part of the clown is silent but appears in many scenes.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and saw our latest production 'A song or two and a sketch revue'. It was a huge success and one of the biggest productions we have done for a while. It truly means so much to us to have your support as without people coming to the show, we can't really put one on!

New production alert - March 2025!

We are hosting a revue called 'A song or two and a sketch revue'. Tickets are £15 and include a light supper. The production will be on Friday 6th March and Saturday 7th March. Tickets can be found on www.seatyco.uk/revue. Please do come along and support our little acting community! 

Once Upon a Murder

Thank you to everyone who came to our latest murder mystery production, it was a huge success where we were able to do two nights! Did you guess who the murderer was?!
