The KALC Community Award Scheme celebrates the very best of community spirit across Kent, recognising individuals and groups whose dedication, initiative and generosity have made a lasting difference to local life. Supported by the Kent Association of Local Councils, the Chairman of Kent County Council, the Mayor of Medway and the High Sheriff of Kent, the award shines a well-deserved spotlight on exceptional voluntary service.

This year, Cliffe & Cliffe Woods Parish Council is proud to recognise the outstanding contribution of the Cliffe Memorial Hall Events Team. Through their tireless efforts, creativity and commitment, they have consistently identified, organised and delivered a wide range of inclusive and well-attended community events, bringing people together and enriching village life.

Parish Council Chairman Barry Dibble commented: “It gives me great pleasure to formally recognise and thank this remarkable group of volunteers. Their dedication over many years has ensured the continued success of well-organised and enjoyable community events that are valued by so many. This Community Award is richly deserved, and I am truly honoured to present it to such a wonderful and committed team.”
