Medway Council have delivered a leaflet to all households about their plans for the Housing Infrastructure Fund (£170m) granted in November 2019. This involves a new road link from Chattenden to the Wainscott Bypass (with slip roads on and off) and passenger services on the freight line to Hoo (Sharnal Street). There will also be some country parks. This will no affect the Cliffe and Cliffe Woods areas directly and there will be no railway station between Cliffe and Cliffe Woods.
