The Colchester Borough Bowling Association (CBBA) is made up of nine member clubs and one associate club, all working together to promote lawn bowls in the Colchester area.

The CBBA, along with the Tendring Hundred and District Bowling Association, forms Group 1 within the Essex County Bowling Association.

The member clubs of the CBBA are:

  • Arclight Bowls Club
  • Colchester Bowls Club
  • Colchester West End Bowls Club
  • Mersea Island Bowls Club
  • Mistley & Manningtree Bowls Club
  • Severalls Bowls Club
  • Three Clubs Bowls Club (an amalgamation of Colchester Colne, Saint George, and South Ward clubs, all of which played at the Recreation Ground on Old Heath Road, Colchester)
  • West Mersea Bowls Club
  • Woods Bowls Club

The associate member club of the CBBA is:

  • Tiptree Jobserve Bowls Club, which is part of Group 2 of the Essex County Bowling Association.
