Pairs 2026

Competition entry forms will be sent to all club secretaries on Sunday 12th April.

Format
Each player delivers four bowls per end. Two trial ends are permitted, and matches are played over 18 ends. If the scores are level after 18 ends, extra end(s) will be played until a winner is determined.

Competition Day
Matches are scheduled for Tuesdays at 18:00. Matches may be played earlier by mutual consent.

Substitutes
Each team may use one substitute, provided that player has not already played in this competition.

Extensions
Extensions will only be granted by the Competition Secretary where players are engaged in any of the four major competitions organised by the ECBA or Bowls England.

Finals Weekend
The finals will take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September.
