Two-Woods Singles 2026

Competition entry forms will be sent to all club secretaries on Sunday 12th April.

The Two-Wood Singles is a knockout competition played through to the semi-finals, which will take place on Saturday 15th August. The final will be played during the Finals Weekend on Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th September.

Format
Each match is played over 21 ends, with each player delivering two bowls per end. Two trial ends are permitted. The winner is the player with the highest score after 21 ends, or the player who is too far ahead to be caught. If the scores are level, an extra end will be played to determine the winner.

Markers
The hosting club will provide markers for the first six rinks of the day. After that, losing players from each round will be expected to remain and mark the next match.
