Library

Everyone loves to curl up with a good book.  Something to pick up and put down whenever you have a spare moment, or when there is nothing much on TV, or to help you drift off into the Land of Nod.

‘Bookmark’ was set up in 2013, as part of the Community Hub scheme in Cold Kirby Village Hall and has been going strong ever since.

Originally it was meant to be a small library with books being donated by local people for local people, but it has grown into more than that.  As well as books, which are changed periodically, there are CD’s and DVD’s to borrow with no restriction on how many or for how long on anything.

Books can be borrowed or swapped at any time the hall is open for any other purpose. Donations of books, CDs and DVDs are always welcome.
