Community Centres

Dalton Parish Council have two community centres which are available to hire.

Dalton Parish Hall

Dalton Parish Hall was refurbished in 2015 and is ideal for all types of functions including weddings, adult and children's parties, conferences, classes and meetings. The site hosts the main hall, meeting room, bar with lounge area and catering kitchen. 

Hall Hire Prices

Parties £130.00 inclusive of VAT for up to 6.5 hours, includes set up and clearing away time.

Children’s parties ( party must finish before 3pm)  -  £60.00 inclusive of VAT for 3 hours, time includes set up and clearing away time.

Extra Hours - £15.00 per hour inclusive of VAT - Must be requested at the time of booking and not requested on the day of hire date.

In addition to the above charges, a £50.00 deposit is required for all party bookings at the time of booking. Deposit will be refunded if the booking terms and conditions are not breached  and is usually refunded within 4-6 weeks after event.

Please note, bookings are not confirmed until full payment, including the deposit has been made and the hire agreement has been returned to the parish council.

Cancellation Fee – Bookings cancelled within 10 days of an event will incur a £50.00 cancellation fee i.e. loss of deposit.   The hall hire fee will be refunded.

Ad Hoc meeting hire ( No Food allowed) - £15.00 per hour inclusive of VAT

Regular Bookings (more than 6 per annum made under one hire agreement) - £13.20 inclusive of VAT per annum, excludes party bookings.

Sunnyside Community Centre

Large hall, with kitchen. Suitable for social gatherings and meetings, birthday parties and group activities such as keep fit and dance classes.

Party hire is £130.00 which includes the bar (if required) an additional £50.00 returnable bond (provided the hall is left as it is found, otherwise the bond will be retained for extra cleaning) is also required. Extra hours charged at £15 per hour.

Childrens parties £45 for 3 hours, £15 per hour for any additional hours.
