Launch of Blackfield Bubble Support Group

As part of Dementia Awareness Week, Hythe & Waterside Dementia Friendly Group launched their new support group in Blackfield. Aimed at people with Dementia and their carers it is a friendly drop in session being held every 2nd Monday of the month at the Baptist Church.

Everyone appreciated the music by FolkActive and the chance for a chat and a cup of tea. And the local Dementia Adviser, Gary Marsh, was on hand to offer support and advice. Dementia Friendly Hampshire's Tree of Wishes was there, too, one wish being the thought provoking "A world where wishes are not needed".
