As a person that has organised tours myself, I know how important it is to have some help, in the form of contact names etc to help fulfil your job as the tour organiser.
Desborough is both an indoor and outdoor bowling club so we can cater for your needs all year round.
In the very adverse weather conditions during the summer months there is always the option of playing indoors rather than not play a game at all which I found to be a great comfort when touring.
We have been welcoming touring teams for many years and our aim is to ensure you and your party of tourists have an enjoyable and memorable tour within the Royal County of Berkshire.
What can we offer?
- Contact names for the indoor season or outdoor season
- Full catering facilities both on arrival and after the match which can be either a snack, meal or finger buffet. Please contact us to discuss your catering requirements.
- Use of the bar on the night before a match rather that paying hotel prices for drinks
- 8 rink indoor facility
- 6 rink outdoor facility
- Mixed matches can be arranged if required
- Non-players can explore Maidenhead’s shops, parks and riverside walks or venture further afield
- Recommend local hotels used to looking after large parties of bowlers
- Help with planning games with other nearby clubs if required
