The internal audit for the year ended 31st March 2026 was completed by Lantern Accounting Ltd in May 2026. Their letter of completion and list of recommendations can be found below. As the Parish Council had income and expenditure below £25,000 for the year, there is no requirement to submit the accounts for an external audit. A Certificate of Exemption was submitted and this can be found on page 3 of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2025/26 listed below. Following the completion of the audit, the Notice for the Exercise of Public Rights can be issued. This will be formally issued on Friday 5th June 2026 and will cover the period from Monday 8th June to Friday 17th July 2026, during which time, should anyone wish to do so, they can inspect the accounting records for the financial year to which it relates by appointment with the Clerk.
