October 2025 update.

Considering the time of year we were lucky to be able to do all 10 planned sessions with the car accident before the Thursday session being particularly challenging.

Saturday morning proved to be very worthwhile, possibly because we had different drivers passing through who may not have come across us before whereas drivers going to or from work in the week are more aware of our presence.

We are still getting far too many doing 40mph and above and with 2 recorded at 50mph it shows that we still have some useful work to do.

The Police mobile camera van was once again at St Lawrence’s on the morning of Tuesday 4th November supporting our efforts.

Two new members have recently joined the team but we are always looking for new villagers to join so that we can maintain both the number of sessions that we do and some more weekend sessions, so please get in contact with the council clerk who will pass on your details to the team.

  • 1793 vehicle speeds were checked
  • 57 exceeded the speed limit
  • 2 were 40mph or higher
