Welcome to the Elmsted with Hastingleigh Community News!

We have set up this website as a resource for those who are interested in the villages of Elmsted and Hastingleigh, and their surrounding areas.  You will find scanned copies of the local magazine from as far back as possible.  The uploading of these copies is a work in progress, and we welcome any donations of past editions not included here.  Please contact us at the address below if you have any missing copies for scanning.

To access a particular edition, click on the year in the black bar under the title picture. But please note that if you want the January magazine, you need to open the December edition of the year before, as they are combined.

We hope visitors to this site will take pleasure in trawling through these old magazines, tracing its evolution from a Parish to a Community magazine; and taking a trip down Memory Lane, or getting a glimpse into the story of two very typical English villages.

Enjoy your visit!
