All Our Stories  Part 2

During 2016/17 we chose four  further older houses to research, with help from the owners. The work resulted in an exhibition on 17th September 2017.

All Our Stories
Following our very successful Heritage Lottery Fund "All Our Stories" Project, 2014-17 we held a special launch day on Saturday 18th January 2014. Following that event the research group had a period of consolidation work, further developing our website and cataloguing the wide range of research already carried out.

Research into The History of the Field Names of Exbourne

The research completed by Margaret was added to her detailed map, which now takes pride of place, in the village hall.

Devon Remembers
From 2014 part of our research looked into the history of the village and villagers of Exbourne, during the First World War. 
We were one of 50 groups taking part in the "Devon Remembers " project from 2015-2018. The resulting Exbourne research formed part of our exhibition in 2017.
