Falstone Cemetery
Falstone Cemetery was opened in 1911. The cemetery is situated on the approach road to the village. As you drive into the village from Stannersburn/C200, it is on the right-hand side of the road, before you go over the North Tyne river bridge into the village. The entrance is through a set of iron gates flanked by stone pillars. To arrange interments or to view the burial records, contact the Parish Clerk.
War Memorial
The cemetery contains a memorial to remember the dead from the First and Second World Wars. The monument was erected by public subscription.
It is situated at the entrance to Falstone Cemetery. The back is to the gate so that the cross faces into the cemetery.
Commonwealth War Graves
The cemetery has two war graves:
- Driver William Armstrong - Royal Field Artillery
- Private John James Rome - 3rd Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers
