Important Notice

The Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) for the accounting year 2025-2026.

Due to the Clerk to the Parish Council having a chronic illness which limits his capacity to fulfill his normal duties for the time being, permission was sought from the External Auditor responsible for the oversight of such matters for an extension of time for the display of the information required to be posted on the Parish Council website.

As a result, the External Auditor has noted the circumstances prevailing at the moment and acknowledged that they have extended the submission deadline to 31st July 2026 (as opposed to 30th June 2026).

This means that the necessary Annual Governance and Accountability Return sections will be put before the Parish Council at a meeting on 13th July and if approved, be posted on the Parish Council website by 2 days following the meeting.

As a result of this dispensation, the Parish Council will not incur financial penalties resulting from a posting date beyond the statutory date of 30th June 2026.
